About Scott L. Mazey

Mr. Mazey graduated from the Detroit College of Law in 1993 with a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude (with honors). While in law school, he also served as senior staff member of the Law Review, and Teaching Assistant for Research, Writing & Oral advocacy I and II.
Mr. Mazey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1990 at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. His major was communication with a minor in political science, and he also completed two internships at WJBK TV2 and Mackinac Publishing.
Mr. Mazey was formerly a partner at ROTHE, MAZEY & MAZEY, P.C. in Southfield, Michigan from 1993 to 2016, and is now a founding partner of WESTBROOK & MAZEY, P.C.
Mr. Mazey serves as a Case Evaluator/Mediator in the Macomb and Oakland County Circuit Courts, the Macomb County Probate Court, and the Oakland County District Courts. as well as a Guardian-ad-litem at the Macomb County Probate Court. He also serves as an appointed public defender in the Rochester, Clinton Township, New Baltimore and Warren District Courts.

About Ryan L. Westbrook

Mr. Westbrook graduated from Wayne State University Law School in 2008 earning a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude (with honors). While in law school, he received the Dean’s Scholar Award as well as the Patrick J. Burkett Scholarship for Excellence in Legal Writing.
Mr. Westbrook earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2005 at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, graduating with Honors and High Distinction. As a History major, he participated in the Honors Thesis Research Program.
Mr. Westbrook formerly worked as a Staff Attorney at Lakeshore Legal Aid in Port Huron and Great Lakes Legal Team from 2008 through March of 2017, and now is a founding Partner at WESTBROOK & MAZEY, P.C.
Mr. Westbrook’s primary practice areas include debt resolution and bankruptcy (Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 in the Eastern District of Michigan), driver’s license restoration, family law including divorce and custody, criminal law, probate and estate planning services, real estate, and general civil practice.
